Woodstock Wassail Weekend 2018Come out to a winter wonderland of fun during Vermont’s Woodstock Wassail Weekend 2018. The 34th annual return of this popular event is scheduled for December 7th to the 9th, 2018.

Woodstock Wassail Weekend 2018 is 3 days of holiday events and activities and one of the area’s most popular celebrations. Visitors come from all over to enjoy Wassail Weekend.

This year’s nonstop schedule of fun includes multiple concerts, film screenings, a holiday house tour, parade, and much more. Woodstock is often referred to as one of America’s prettiest small towns. This is doubly true during the holiday season and especially so during Woodstock Wassail Weekend.

Woodstock Wassail Weekend 2018

Friday, December 7th –

Christmas at Billings Farm & Museum – 10am to 4pm
Tour the festively decorated 1890 Farm House, farm, and barns. Holiday activities, interactive programs, and a chance to make your own historic Christmas ornament. Christmas at Billings Farm & Museum occurs all through Woodstock Wassail Weekend.

“The Holiday” film screening at Pentangle Arts – 7:30pm to 9:50pm
Part of Pentangle Arts’ Wassail Weekend movie series. “The Holiday” is PG-13 and stars Kate Winslet, Cameron Diaz, Jude Law, Jack Black, and Eli Wallach.

Saturday, December 8th –

Breakfast with Santa – 8am to 11am
Start off your Wassail Weekend right by sharing a hearty breakfast with Santa at the Woodstock Little Theatre.

17th Annual Woodstock Holiday House Tour – 9:30am to 2pm
The annual Wassail Weekend Holiday House Tour is always a favorite. See some of Woodstock’s most gorgeous and historic homes gussied up for the holidays. Docents will be at each property to answer your questions provide historical information. and answer questions. best of all, the last stop is a lovely hosted by the Prince and the Pauper Restaurant. Christmas at the Farm – Billings Farm & Museum – 10am to 4pm

Woodstock Wassail Parade – 2pm to 4pm
The annual Woodstock Wassail Parade is one of the weekend’s biggest highlights! The grand spectacle of the 34th Annual Equestrian Parade is not to be missed. Secure a seat on the Village Green for the best views.

Lighting of the Memory Tree – 3pm to 10pm
Set the season in motion with twinkling lights, a bonfire, caroling, and 400 luminaria on the Village Green.

Woodstock Wassail Feast – 5:30pm to 7:30pm
What better way to celebrate the coming holidays then with a festive Wassail Feast? Call for Reservations: 802-457-6620.

Còig – Celtic Holiday Concert – 8pm to 10pm
Nova Scotia’s powerhouse Còig presents an evening of fiery Celtic holiday tunes. Còig is one of today’s most exciting new North American Celtic groups. Tickets are available online.

Sunday, December 9th –

“Home Alone” screening at Pentangle Arts – 3pm to 4:45pm
Part of Pentangle Arts’ Wassail Weekend movie series. “Home Alone” is PG and stars: Macaulay Culkin, Catherine O’Hara, Joe Pesci, and Daniel Stern.

Christmas at the Farm – Billings Farm & Museum – 10am to 4pm
All the activities of the past two days (see above) plus horse-drawn sleigh or wagon rides.

35th annual Annual Community Messiah Sing – 4pm to 6pm
The stirring conclusion to Woodstock Wassail Weekend 2018 at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church. A world-class ensemble and four featured soloists perform the Christmas portions of Handel’s Messiah. Best of all, the audience joins in for the choruses!

“Love Actually” screening at Pentangle Arts
Part of Pentangle Arts’ Wassail Movie series. “Love Actually” is rated R and stars: Hugh Grant, Martine McCutcheon, Laura Linney, Alan Rickman, Emma Thompson, Liam Neeson, Colin Firth, and Keira Knightley.
