Green Mountain National Golf Course – less than half an hour’s drive from Deer Brook Inn
Green Mountain offers 18-holes of mountain golf: rock outcroppings, dense woods, steep drops, and compelling backdrops. Every hole is an entity unto itself. The course features 6,589 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71.

The 9-hole course at the Carter Country Club was designed by Donald J. Ross, ASGCA. The course was redesigned in the 1930’s by Orrin Smith and again in 1991 by Phil Wogan. The very hilly 3,000 yard, par 36 course has small greens and narrow tree-lined fairways with 4 sets of tees to accommodate a wide range of players.

Okemo Valley Golf Club Just 30 minutes drive from Deer Brook Inn
Okemo Valley Golf Club’s 6,400-yard, par-70 course is fairly level and free of blind shots. The course, designed by Steve Durkee, is superbly maintained and walker-friendly. The course is one of the best in Vermont, delivering a pleasurable outing for the average golfer.
